• KS1 Author Visit

  On Tuesday 26th November, KS1 children were lucky enough to be visited by the author Charlotte Guillain. Charlotte told stories to the children and then ran workshops all about the writing process. This tied in with the children's current project - Brilliant Books. 

   

  The children all had a fantastic time and were really inspired by Charlotte. 

  

• KS1 Skipping Competition

  A huge well done to our KS1 skipping team. At the recent competition, St John's managed to finish in 2nd place out of 11 schools. The children had to take part in various activities throughout the afternoon. These included individual skipping, freestyle, long rope and finally performing as a pair in front of all of the other children. 

   

  The children practised really hard in the run up to the event and performed really well on the day. 

   

  Well done to everyone involved!
