Children may order hot school meals that are cooked on the premises, bring a healthy packed lunch from home or go home for lunch. Children who stay eat their lunch in the school hall. Children who have brought packed lunches from home may be permitted to eat their lunches outside weather permitting.

Packed lunches should be healthy and we discourage the children from having chocolate biscuits and crisps every day.

All children have a choice of a vegetarian or meat option and a picnic during the summer term. Menus are displayed in all classrooms and sent home on a regular basis.

Children are able to choose to have a hot meal on the day, for several days or all week.

Children with special diets e.g. gluten intolerance or allergies can be catered for by special arrangement with the cook – please contact the school office for more details.

Children of parents in receipt of income support or income-based job seeker’s allowance are entitled to a free school lunch. Further details can be obtained from the School Office – please don’t hesitate to ask.  All free school lunch applications are treated in the strictest confidence.

School lunches should be paid for, in advance.
