On Monday 27th September, the Year 4 boys travelled to Basingstoke Soccer Centre to take part in a football competition. They were placed in a group with Park View, North Waltham and St Bede's B team. After drawing their first 2 matches (0-0 against Park View and 1-1 against North Waltham) the boys needed to win their final group game to progress. They duly did this with a 3-0 win over St Bede's B team. 

This put them in the quarter final where they beat Bramley 3-0. They then went on to play St Bede's A team in the semi-final, managing a very hard fought 1-0 victory to reach the final! In the final, the boy's came up against a very strong Marnel side. They played really well but eventually lost the match 4-1. 

We are really proud of the boy's achievements and how well they played as a team and they thoroughly deserved their silver medals.
