On Friday 17^th May, the whole school gathered for our annual sports day. In the morning the children were divided into squads. Each squad was made up of children from each of the coloured teams. Throughout the morning, the squads competed against each other in a series of activities to gain points for their team. These included an obstacle race, standing long jump, hockey dribble, football dribble and throwing the howler. After a fantastic picnic lunch with friends and family, the children participated in a series of sprint, long distance and relay races. These finished with a Mums, Dads, toddlers and teachers race (Mr Gardner retained his title!). Congratulations to Blue team who were the overall winners and big thank you goes to Mrs Williams for organising a fantastic day.
