Portals to the Past Brings Roman Britain to Life!
Our school was delighted to welcome Portals to the Past for an exciting Roman Day, giving the children a hands-on experience of life in Roman times.
Throughout the day, pupils stepped back nearly 2,000 years as they explored what it was like to live in Roman Britain. Dressed in Roman-style clothing, the children took part in a range of interactive activities, including learning about Roman soldiers, handling artefacts, and discovering how Romans lived, worked, and fought.
The sessions were engaging, educational, and great fun, helping to bring our history learning to life in a memorable way. The children were enthusiastic, asked thoughtful questions, and impressed us with their curiosity and knowledge.
A huge thank you to Portals to the Past for providing such an inspiring and immersive experience. It was a fantastic day that our pupils will remember for a long time!
