Basingstoke Church 

As a town centre school St John’s is part of, and linked to, the Basingstoke Church.

Every other Monday, a member of Basingstoke Church’s ‘Rising Generations’ team visits the school to join us for our whole school worship.

In addition, the school visits the church for worship four times a year: Harvest, Christmas, Easter and the End of year reflection.

On these occasions, we usually visit All Saints Church, where the worship service is led by different classes or year groups and involves a member of Basingstoke Church's Rising Generations team. The children also visit the church to support their learning within the RE curriculum.
