Throughout the year the PTA organise a variety of events, examples include:

Secrets Room

This festive event takes place at the end of the Autumn Term just in time for Christmas!  It gives the children the opportunity for some secret shopping for their parents or other loved ones.
Although it is organised by the PTA, it is a non-profit making event in order to ensure the gift price is kept to a minimum, each child can select up to 2 gifts; all gifts are £2.50 each.

Easter Egg Hunt

Our extensive school grounds are ideal for our annual Easter Egg Hunt which is generally held just before the Easter holidays at the end of the Spring term.
There are Easter Egg prizes for all participating children and the chance to win one of the several special “Golden Eggs”.

School Discos

Our school discos continue to be a firm favourite with all the children at St John’s School.
The Autumn and Spring discos are for KS1 and KS2 children and they require accompaniment by an adult. A Parents’ Room is available for those who prefer a quieter alternative to the disco.
In the summer term the disco is for Year 6 leavers and other KS2 children and they may attend unaccompanied.

Summer and Christmas Fayres

These are regular events in the PTA calendar and generally take place in early July and early December respectively. Each year a group of willing parents form a Fayre working party to organise each event. Many hands make light work!
